Annual food plots should be planted early enough in the spring to allow plants to grow to full maturity. Most of our mixes should be planted between April 15 & June 15. The perennial plots can be planted in the fall as well, generally between August 15 & September 15. Frost seeding (1st of March) is also an accepted practice for the Deer & Wildlife Mix and the UltraBuck Premium Deer Blend. Planting during the summer months is not recommended due to the stresses from heat and lack of moisture.
